That depends on whats being asked. When it comes to making a decision don’t get caught up in the moment of the business meeting or the transaction and give buying signals. A buying
signal is something looked for in the sales profession before you do a quick close to see where the customer is during the selling process or the presentation. Lets look at something totally different from buying and selling; how about when it comes to saying “no” to an invitation or to friends? We often use phrases like:
- Sorry, I don’t think I’m able to. That’s would be a weak stand to take. If anything, you know if you want to or not. If your not sure, just say. I wont be able to.
- Let me see if I can and I’ll let you know. Here is another weak stand that people will take. Don’t string anyone along with an answer like this. In some instances, you may be low on cash and when you share that information, the asking party may offer to loan you the cash; simply say: I appreciate it but, I can not at this time. Everybody wants to drive traffic to their website or blog, everybody wants to know How To Get More Followers on their twitter account, but seldom will people act on this information when they get it. Lets face it, there are many software application out there that will help you get more followers, but you have to know what your trying to accomplish when you get those followers.
Social networking is a definite must to get to the end result of more site traffic. I currently use this method to promote my websites 24/4. I see more than 1,500 visits a day to one particular site I promote the heck out of. Am I making a ton of cash? I’m not trying to get rich with multilevel marketing, I’m a technology professional and I earn a living off web development, hosting and technical support.
So, the straight talk about driving traffic to your site, Social networking tools are need. You can try and send 20 – 30 tweets a day, to 300 or 450 followers, but you need more…much more, and yes it works. Being able to reference your blog and reference your website all from one location 24/7 is how you will increase visits to your site. Once you get a visitor, have some content worthy of their visit.
This blog is an example on how you can use your blog and certain social networking tools to increase traffic to your website or my website for that matter. The great thing about hosting your own blog is the freedom to create your own back-links, sell ad space and fulfill your passion of writing. Do you have a website or blog and you want to sell products of services online? If you haven’t realized it, you can sell most anything online and you don’t have to use the many online portals to sell your stuff? Whether your having your garage sale online or your just selling your outdated IT equipment, building a simple PayPal page or shopping cart, doesn’t have to be expensive. I started selling my unwanted and extra IT equipment online after I was tired of the fees on some well named sites.
If you have a PayPal of Google Checkout merchant account, you can sell your wares online yourself. Mo matter what your hobby is, you can sell at flea markets and swap meets, but having an online presence that you can advertise at the local flea market or swap meet can really boost revenues. Where can you get a custom built shopping cart? The Connectivity Pros and another company called Connectivity Pro can build you a basic shopping cart that you can have up and running in hours. I talked with a friend the other day and he wanted to sell products to restaurants and thought about selling at flea markets. A great Idea, but why not sell online?
The internet open up many opportunities to buy and sell, its just a matter of using your existing website or blog to take advantage of the opportunities.
