That depends on whats being asked. When it comes to making a decision don’t get caught up in the moment of the business meeting or the transaction and give buying signals. A buying
signal is something looked for in the sales profession before you do a quick close to see where the customer is during the selling process or the presentation. Lets look at something totally different from buying and selling; how about when it comes to saying “no” to an invitation or to friends? We often use phrases like:
- Sorry, I don’t think I’m able to. That’s would be a weak stand to take. If anything, you know if you want to or not. If your not sure, just say. I wont be able to.
- Let me see if I can and I’ll let you know. Here is another weak stand that people will take. Don’t string anyone along with an answer like this. In some instances, you may be low on cash and when you share that information, the asking party may offer to loan you the cash; simply say: I appreciate it but, I can not at this time.
